Acceptance and eligibility

Acceptance by use. By accessing or using Film Plotter, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. These terms apply to visitors using Film Plotter’s publicly available pages, editorial material and site features.

Film Plotter may publish an updated version of these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the website after an updated version takes effect means that your use is subject to the then-current terms displayed on this page.

Lawful and responsible access. You must use Film Plotter lawfully and in a way that does not harm, disrupt or unreasonably restrict access for other visitors. You must not attempt to interfere with the website’s operation, security, systems or availability, including by trying to gain unauthorised access or by using the site in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on it.

02 / The archive

Editorial service and no gambling services

Film Plotter is an editorial film-information portal focused on movies involving casinos, poker, roulette, card rooms and casino culture. We publish reviews, detailed plot summaries, character profiles, behind-the-scenes facts, thematic articles and curated collections to support film discovery and research. Our material is commentary and information about cinema; it is not a promise that every title, category or reference will always be available.

Editorial discretion. Film Plotter may organise, update, correct, remove or change editorial material and site features where appropriate. This can include categories, summaries, reviews, collections and reference information. We may make those changes without prior notice as part of maintaining a useful and accurate archive where practicable.

03 / Visitor conduct

Acceptable use

Personal, lawful use. You may view, search and use Film Plotter for personal, non-commercial informational purposes, subject to these terms. You may ordinarily share links to publicly available Film Plotter pages. Actions not permitted. When using the website, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Film Plotter material beyond what applicable law permits;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract content or data without permission;
  • reverse engineer, probe, bypass or attempt to defeat site security or access controls;

  • overload, disrupt or impair the service, its infrastructure or access for other visitors; or
  • use Film Plotter for an unlawful purpose or in a way that breaches another person’s rights.

These restrictions are intended to protect the archive, its visitors and the ordinary operation of Film Plotter. They do not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
